2020/2021 AA Program Registration

All U14, U16 and U19 players wishing to play AA must register online directly through Ringette Manitoba’s website, only.

Manual registrations will not be accepted.

Registrations open August 20, 2020 and close on August 27, 2020 (11:59pm) for a fee of $90.00 GST included.

This fee will cover the Ringette Manitoba Annual player fees – including the individual’s RMB insurance. Additional fees will be collected by the AA Organization the athlete is assigned.

Absolutely NO registrations will be accepted after August 27th.

To be in accordance with the Government of Manitoba approved Return to Ringette Activity Plan, the AA tryouts for the 2020 – 2021 season had to be adjusted. The initial goal at this time is for all athletes interested in U14AA/U16AA/U19AA to register and pre-pay in order to be included in the AA’s first phase of on-ice training once RMB receives permission ringette is sanctioned for return. Athletes will be placed into an AA program’s training COHORT for the Return to Activity period based on Facility and Government approved participant number allowances.

Under the current Return to Activity, Return to Play plan submitted to the province, and as the situation remains fluid, unlike in prior years, no centralized AA inter-organization tryouts will be sanctioned. Dependant on numbers, tryouts will likely be held by each AA Organization independently based on the Government approved framework for return.
There are many variables at play this season and rules/standards can change at any time. At this point in time however, the plan is that athletes will remain in their training Cohort for the 30 day Return to Activity phase for what essentially is an extended tryout period. At the end of the 30 day Return to Activity phase some athletes may be released back to their home association.

Should the restrictions placed by the government not permit 5 vs 5 early in the fall but does allow for some level of competitive game scenario, please see your specific age division below for a progressions outline.

RMB and the AA Committee appreciate there may be several questions with moving forward. Until the Government of Manitoba outlines the approved training and competitive environment, programming remains fluid.

ALL U14, U16 and U19 Aged who WANTS TO PLAY IN THE AA PROGRAM MUST Be PRE- Registered with payment.
